Our General English courses are designed to focus on your everyday communication. We aim to improve your speaking and listening skills whilst using different scenarios as well as a variety of contexts to polish up on your grammar and vocabulary.
You will also:
- Learn formal and informal general English. Learning what language is appropriate in a formal setting and what language can be used to communicate with friends and family.
- Learn how to approach written English and the skills you need to read, understand and reply.
- Pick up local and everyday phrases and vocabulary so conversing with someone in an informal setting becomes second nature.
- Learn about British culture, other English speaking countries and about the countries your classmates come from.
